Video Logging : Next Chapter in My Life !
I've been thinking about this for a long time. I have ideas I want to explore, and I'd like to find like-minded people to discuss them with.
Almost a decade ago, I came up with the idea of "The Nepali Show." At the time, I thought it was the direction I wanted to pursue. Today, you'll find me on YouTube under the name "A Nepali Citizen."
For years, I approached content creation with the belief that I needed to follow the norm—that I should imitate successful formats, chase trends, and replicate what was already going viral. Over time, however, I've arrived at a different conclusion: the only thing truly worth creating is something that is authentically my own.
What I know how to do is write.
For the longest time, I waited for bursts of inspiration before putting words on a page. Now, I'm choosing a different approach. I'm making writing a routine rather than relying on motivation.
With that in mind, I'll be publishing video essays, each accompanied by a written essay here on this blog. My hope is that the two formats complement each other—one to watch, the other to read.
As I approach my third decade of life in Nepal, I've come to appreciate the experiences, contradictions, and lessons that have shaped me. They've led me to a path where I can finally give voice to my thoughts while expressing them creatively.
This is the beginning—an introduction to where I'm headed next. I don't have all the answers, but I do have questions worth asking, stories worth telling, and conversations worth having. I hope you'll join me for the journey.
